POST 3: MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

 


 

When I was a kid my mom bought me a MP3, one of the first (more modern) electronic devices to listen to music! The MP3 I had for the first time was more similar to the one in the picture and it was the best gift of my life!! Then ( also my mom ) give me an MP3, in which more songs could be stored and for me it was fantastic!  

Years passed and the technology advanced to cell phones capable of playing music, I guess that my life would be very boring without music and in turn without dancing, I usually use my cell phone to listen to music, it is fun! in addition the music helps me relax and being able to hear it so easily is very good 😊

For all the things I’ve mentioned and many more, I suppose my life withouth music (MP3, cellphone) would be a lot les fun.

Hi everybody and welcome to my blog, i hope tell you a little about myself. My name is Francisca Tapia, i was born in Santiago, Chile. Specifically i grew up in the commune Macul with my parents and my twins sisters, but then we moved from house to the commune of La Florida where i haved until now. There i live with my seven pets, yes! seven, five cats and two dogs, they are called Artur, Tina, Aurora, Negrito, Bella for the cats and Toño and Mila for the dogs. One of them, Bella, rescued her from the street one month ago: It's so cute! In the same commune, i went to Antilhue school and there i was able to make good friends that i maintain to this day. At the end of high school i took the test PSU and i was selected to enter the career forestry engineering in the University of Chile. Nowadays,  I am in the fourth year of forestry engineering, leaving only one year to finish. I have a lot of hobbies, for example, I like dancing and painting, listening to music and i like ridin...

POST 2: The Best Concert

 Hi everyone!! In this post I will tell you about the best concert in my life, although I have not been to many concerts haha. The concert that I liked the most was Black Eyed Peas I think around the year 2014.  I remember that the concert was one day in the afternoon and I went with my dad. The concert it was at the Bicentennial Stadium in the commune La Florida. I really like the music of this group and back then I was even more fanatic haha. Black Eyed Peas was conformed for Will.i.am, Apl.de.Ap, Taboo, J. Rey Soul and Fergie. Talking about what the concert was, really it was spectacular! the lights, the sound and the giant screens that they had made it great. Also the voice of the singer Fergie was really incredible, she was the one I liked the most of the group.  My favorite part of the concert It was when Fergie sang the song “My Humps” and then the song I gotta feeling they are very good songs!

POST 7: AN EXPERT THAT I ADMIRE

 Hi! this time I will talk to you about an expert that I admire. Thinking what expert could be an example for me the first that comes to mind is professor Claudio Donoso Z. Forest Engineer from the University of Chile and Master of Science from the University of California (USA), he was an expert in Forest Ecology and Silviculture, it really is a great inspiration to me. As an academic at the Faculty of Forest Sciences and Natural Resources, he held different positions, including that of director of the Institute of Forestry and Prodecano in 1994. He was also co-editor of the magazine Bosque in the 1980s, where he also published various articles scientists. In 2000, the Austral University of Chile appointed him Emeritus Professor, the same date he retired from the University. It obtained the Recognition of CONAF and Ministry of Agriculture for work carried out by the native forest (1994).
