Great horned owl, Bubo magellanicus.

  Hello! In this opportunity I will tell you about the photo above. In the photo I am with my best friend, marveling at the beautiful scenery.  We are in the Los Lagos region, southeast of lake Llanquihue. The beautiful volcano that can be seen behind is called Calbuco and it's completely fascinating to be able to get so close to it. The photo was taken by college classmate, and to get to that position it was quite risky hahaha, but it was worth it!! In practice 2 we had the opportunity to visit that beautiful place, we walked around nine hours to complete the tour. The truth was quite exhausting but if you ask me if I would do it again.... my answer would be obviously YEEES!!! <3  The photo was taken in january 2020 when you could still go out freely (so sad :( ). I like this photo because it shows how good it is in practice and also makes me very nostalgic to see it. I hope that the country situation improves soon to meet these beautiful places again.
